Kelly and I connected via the wonderful world of blogs and instagram and I was honored when she and Daniel asked me to shoot their maternity photos this past autumn (you can view here on 100 Layer Cakelet). I was honored once again when they asked me to shoot 6 week photos of little Fox. Kelly and I have very similar style when it comes to photography so I really had so much fun shooting these laid back photos of their family and new babe. Elodie Rose | 3 months

This is Elodie Rose, born this past summer to my husband and me. Elodie means "foreign riches" and in our hearts is translated to "treasure from heaven." Rose comes from my maiden name DeRosa, which in Italian means "The Rose" essentially. It was hard to part ways legally from my last name but am happy to pass down a bit of heritage to this girl. Jonathan was changing her diaper and I grabbed my camera for some informal 3 month photos. You can follow me on instagram (@christinahussey) for more photos.

These are my good friends Megan & Austin. We were hanging out when I noticed out the window that the lighting had gotten suddenly beautiful. We ran outside and I snapped these images of these two. Aren't they quite the pair?
